Changing Colors ~ and Not the 'Fall' Kind

"Color Screamer"
6" x 6"
oil on Raymar canvasboard

Chameleon's are an interesting lizard.
Their 'ability to change color' is
the most amazing adaptation.
I don't think I have ever painted a lizard before.
This one was full of interesting patterns and strokes.
Just like the chameleon, this painting was about
creating the illusion of scaly skin and light.

Being an insectivore, it would be more
than welcome at my house.
I don't know anyone who has one, do you?
