Slow as I Go...

"Aspen Grove Closeup - near Gould, Co."

oil on wrapped canvas
There seem to be so many things that get in the way of creating these days, must be the season beginning to change.  Lots to do, little time to do it.

I know what you mean but for me it is not the season but all year round. I've stepped down from one position after being exhausted and then getting sick this past week. I've noticed you've been using dark colors lately is this any reflection of the seasonal change too? Great you keep painting even when so many things are pulling at you for your time.

Thanks Victoria, Lorrie and Leann! Victoria...I think what you mean is the dark created in the shadow of the forest the last two paintings? Hmmm, maybe I am being affected by the season changing in my painting these days. The time I spent doing art in my younger days, produced MANY dark paintings. I totally understand when artists go through periods of focus, like the "blue period", etc., don't you?
