An Acrylic Painting of White Ducks

"Pekin Ducks"
12" x 36"
acrylic on wrapped canvas

Once upon a time, my young daughter and I made trips to parks to feed the ducks.
This painting is comprised of 5 of the many duck photos I have from those trips.
Although they are just your average barnyard
type of  'farm duck', I think there is something very special about them.
I love their pristine 'whiteness' - it is so regal.
The water and the reflections were most fun to paint.
This one will go to 'Independence Gallery' in June.

You can see them also on Fine Art America HERE.

Hi Pattie, Lovely painting...I love the composition of your ducks. Good advice on changing it up a little. I've been using acrylics a bit for underpaintings on larger pieces, and wonder why I don't just continue on with them sometimes.
