DAY 29 - Painting 30 Paintings in 30 Days (#29)

"Number 29"
10" x 10"
oil on Raymar canvasboard

OK, I have to admit, I have run out of creative ideas on
titles for today.

This one turned into a paint fling after awhile.
It was 'OH so tight and precise'..not what
I wanted at all..
so I conjoured up
my previous many sessions of learning - ala 'Kaye Franklin' -
and was very pleased with the outcome.

Too bad it didn't start that way, could have
decreased the angst through the afternoon.

Anyway, there are so many things calling to me from
all angles to be done or 'get to it' around the farmstead..I need
to be done for a few days..tomorrow is NUMBER 30!!

DAY 29 of 30 Paintings in 30 Days

"Reading Lamp"
4 1/2" x 10 3/4"
oil on wood

under those lampshades.
Not an easy one, and I
am not sure I have done it justice.
My walls aren't this color of green, but

for this painting.
Painting for me - just me today.

This is my living room lamp with
it's reflection into a large glass over
a print hanging there.
I like it turned on, instead of the
bright overhead light, but
I don't like it when the
TV is on and the drapes are closed ~
too much glare.

It is probably the most inviting sight/light in the room.

Painted under the influence of mega pharmacy meds
hands were shaky and I could NOT make a
straight line if I had to and I tell
myself it's a good thing.

Hey - #30 coming right up!

Adventures in Pyrography

Last year about this time, I purchased a cheapo woodburning set and some little wood pieces and tried my hand at woodburning.  I made a few...
