Crossing Over and Out

"Crossing" 9" x 12" oil on clayboard
This is the my answer for the challenge on
The board was black, I drew my sketch in with
an off-white paint, and went from there.
This one was fun! No faces, no tiny details,
just figures and shadows and a street crossing.
I can feel that intense sun shining
straight at these figures
on a crisp, chilly afternoon.
For Sale $95.00. If interested, please email me.

Hey Pattie, Looks good. I've been thinking about how Karin does her wrinkles in fabric and wondering if i could pull it off. Did you watch the Jeremy Lipkiss vid on Frank Gardners blog?

Thanks, Mark. I haven't seen the vid, but I am sure I will today!
