These are my two dachshunds. They love to sit on the bed and look out the window.
It gives them a good vantage point.
I am still working on this one.

What cuties, the painting is looking really good. I read over your last post, do I understand that you are new to oils? If so, I never would have guessed that. Your work is always wonderful. wow, 15 paintings this month. Good luck
Hey Barb, thanks for looking. When I say I am now 'proficient in oils', I say that in light that for years and years I have mainly done pastels...started focusing on oils about 2 years ago, and now feel it is my NEW love, no longer feeling that way about pastel. I am finally comfortable with them and if someone would say can you paint that? I would do it in oils in a heartbeat (kinda like I used to treat pastels). Does that make sense? So ya, 2008 was a switchover year for me. I wonder if I will make the 15...I have some travel planned within the month, so unless I take my stuff with me, that kinda puts a kink in the plan. I'll see what I can do.
