Cupcake Paintings Put Together

This is the six little 6" x 6" cupcake oil paintings I did for our granddaughter's bedroom. We (hubster helped) framed a painted masonite board, then screwed the paintings into place from the back...I know some people like to hang them and move them around, however, not that many nail holes should be put into the wall it is going on. I think it turned out cute and I am ready to do more groups of six. Can't decide on the subject matter yet. Stay tuned.

I love it! Are you taking orders for baby rooms? Is this for Ryan's baby or Jess's?

This is for Ryan's baby. Big bedroom, nothing on walls. Poor thing. I would LOVE to do another one, like it, or a little different, with other items - like pull toys, little ducks or bunnies, beach toys, sky is the limit. It was truly fun, took awhile, cause of the drying times on everything...but if it's a new baby, there would be awhile. I'm open to suggestions!

Fantastic idea, which you have realised to perfection.
I have named you for an award over on my blog, because I love your ideas.

Hi Pattie, This is such a cute idea, bet your granddaughter loves it. They look like they must have such fun to paint too.

Thanks Barb. While Karli is a fussin, you take her into her room and stand in front of this painting and she looks and looks at it, at 3 months old, that's on track for 'art appreciation', right?

Patti,

I LOVE how this turned out! I have some 6x6 panels that I was wondering what I wanted to do with them...I think I will do an adaptation of this idea! I will give you full credit for the idea when I post them.

I worked on a baby room over the holiday, too. For my son's twins due in Feb.

You go girl!

Adventures in Pyrography

Last year about this time, I purchased a cheapo woodburning set and some little wood pieces and tried my hand at woodburning.  I made a few...
