As READ online...

on an email I get from a book company, the title was "When Vodka and Watercolor Mix.." At first I thought - 'yep - that would certainly loosen up your brushstrokes', but upon reading the article -
the writer had heard that mixing vodka or gin with your water would keep your plein air surface and W/C paint from freezing.  I could only HOPE for those kinds of temps. This summer has been grueling - many days - upon days of unbelievably HOT days. I think I need to visit Antarctica in the month of July from now on.  In the meantime, I am thinking of loosening my brushstrokes, a little.
