New Oil Painting of Horses

I love how this one turned out.  I captured these horses on my camera lens while in Colorado on Wild Horse Mesa - although I don't think these horses were necessarily wild.  I have painted them before..but I am so intrigued with this composition.  I put two photos together to get the right pose of all three.  Moving across the sagebrush, they were a frisky bunch.

These three photos were taken with my iPad - they make for grainy photos, but a great way to get a quick photo view.  My final photography was taken with my Nikon D50.  I can always count on it!
