While Dealing with...

Dealing with pneumonia/sinus infection/bronchitis (yup, that's what I have) is not fun. The condition makes me loopy, the meds make it worse, it just plain stinks.  In the meantime, I CAN sit at the computer and do some stuff.  Here is a pastel in progress.  I shared it HERE.  Day One above...since then I have gotten to here...

It's one of those larger pieces, that you just go from here...to here....and then to here....I am not one to work from left to right or top to bottom.  I would like to hear how you work in pastels?
Love the Aubergine color of the surface of the Art Spectrum paper.  A challenge to me, getting a likeness in four little people in one painting.  That's one of those things I will be working on more of this year.  I can usually hold it together for two persons, but beyond that it becomes the real challenge.  I will keep you posted.
Also working on another Unleashed Paint Doodling.  That seems to be safe for now..since my head is full of what seems to be cotton.  Stay well my peeps!

Wow, Pattie - you don't mess around when you get sick...no common cold for you! Sure hope that you are feeling better soon - it's nice to see that you can still paint. Love what you are doing here!

Love the way this is progressing Pattie. Hope you're feeling better soon. Try some oil of oregano/oregacyn, although you may be too far along.

Looks great so far! I imagine that color is neat to paint on, can't wait to see it finished!

It is coming wonderful. I hope you are feeling better soon, though I'm amazed at what you are accomplishing under the weather!

Hey Cliare, Diane, Leann and Vern - I figure - life is short. I have been using this time to update things in the online presence of my art world. Cleaning the cobwebs and getting ready for the assault on 2012 - a little late, but with taking time for thought and a little planning maybe. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for leaving your nice comments - they are appreciated always!! I am feeling a little better each day - meds are wonderful.

Adventures in Pyrography

Last year about this time, I purchased a cheapo woodburning set and some little wood pieces and tried my hand at woodburning.  I made a few...
