are those coming out, or do you get to keep them? I'll put in a lap around the block for you now. it's 74ยบ out.
This photograph makes my knees week - this is quite a break, Pattie. I can only imagine how hard it is to be patient and to stay off that leg - but it will be worth it in four weeks when the bones have fully mended and are strong enough to support full weight. Take care!
(I have been watching the tornadoes that have been wreaking havoc in the mid-west, and hoping that they are staying VERY far away from you!)
I like to think of you as a beautiful flamingo, perhaps you should start wearing bright pink.
Mark, the doc said they will most likely all stay. The little ones are holding the plate in place. please do a lap in that nice weather for me...i wish i could too!! my wheelchair part should be here today. life could improve by leaps and bounds! Claire, the one that did damage in ks. was about 150 or so miles away. we had one go OVER us 5 years ago...took out one window on the west side, did lots of damage...got a new roof, new siding...took all the wheat in the fields down to a stubble. our neighbors got it much worse. we have it on video, as all our outside belongings go flying by us, it was like the wizard of oz. it will be a matter of time until the pattern shifts up a little and there will be more rotation in these parts. we were about 10 to 15 miles away from a "grounder" in nebraska coming home from the doctors last week. i always thought i wanted to be a "spotter" but that would mean i would have to be away from home, when i need to be here. we have good weather alerts on our special weather radio...and they are usually "right on"...so we pay attention.
wouldn't that be cool, to have a beautiful longer neck - i would go for it (altho pink is not my color)
Oh Pattie, I had no ideal you were going through such Hades with an ankle broken in three (?) places!! Stinkin' ice!!! Poor thing, I wish you a speedy recovery!!!
