Take a Good look...This is as Clean as it Gets!

We have been so busy in the studio and shop these past few days. The studio is uber organized and very clean as you can see, maybe. Hopefully it will stay that way for awhile, although with the creation of the storage closet (see NW corner) I now have to think hard about where I put something that maybe I used to know where it lived. With organization comes disruption of chaos, which in my case is where I operate best!
Northeast corner...

Northwest corner...with storage closet to the left.

Southeast corner...probably my favorite new corner because of the new georgette valance I found in a box that I never used in Golden.

and southwest corner, where the adjoining door to the shop is located.

This summer we will add the outside entry door.
So now you see where I spend all my time. I love it and I will be there again, soon. Getting ready for visit from hubster's son and son's wife.

your studio is nice, esp. the carpet with grids (not sure is it a carpet), and the boxes, they are all colorful ~~

Thanks! The multicolored grid is a carpet, I have pieces of used and leftover carpeting and throw rugs covering the concrete floor. Can't put anything nice in there, I am too messy when I paint.

Great photos of your studio from 2008, how is it looking now? I've done some rearranging of my studio in the last month again, planning for teaching a child with mother viewing this summer so had to set things up differently, but actually it gave me a good excuse to clean up, de-clutter and reset up things better to my liking too.

WOW! Pattie. This puts my studio look to shame. And to think mine once looked really good. O K Come the first of the year when the gallery shuts down for 3 months it will be my time to get the hoe and shovel out [maybe even a pitchfork]and go to work.. Then maybe I would be willing to post a pix of it. LOL
Looks great and now let the creative process go to work.

Adventures in Pyrography

Last year about this time, I purchased a cheapo woodburning set and some little wood pieces and tried my hand at woodburning.  I made a few...
