A Portrait on Grey-Toned Paper

grey-toned Strathmore paper

My daughter has this great 'scowl' when she questions -
she is such an actress and is so expressive with her many 'looks'
leaning on the counter in my kitchen many years back.
Taking an online class - sketching with 'this' paper.
It DOES have a little tooth to it, but it 'feels' really smooth.

Thank you Maria - I have painted or drawn her many times..if I need practice on facial expressions, I have a ton of reference.

Adventures in Pyrography

 Last year about this time, I purchased a cheapo woodburning set and some little wood pieces and tried my hand at woodburning.  I made a few...
