This watercolor needed some boost, so out came the pastels,
plus I can always trust pastels to give me the COLOR I need.
The source photo for this was taken by ME on my Guatemala painting trip
several years ago. These tropical plants grew right outside the door at one
of the buildings on a property we visited.

My fav flower! They grow here on Okinawa too! I love that they have every color of the rainbow! Great expression in these flowers you painted here. Interesting combination of watercolor and pastel.
That would be so cool - all that grows here is big sunflowers, wheat and corn and that's it! Ha! Thanks for stopping by, I will be to your blog this morning!
