Painting 30 in 30 - Day 28/Row

"Windbreak"
acrylic mixed media
8" x 8"
Raymar canvasboard

This one is done from a personal photo
of the trees on my property (again).  They
are to the east of my driveway.

I liked the foggy day and the light haze
that was surrounding them, so
I attempted to paint that feeling I had
about the scene.

Soft, quiet and simple.

The surface of this painting has a covering
of double 'white' tissue paper
collage.  I used a sponge
as well as my fingers and a paintbrush
to paint the color. It has
many layers of paint glaze.

These little squares look so nice in frames.

Nice, Pattie! I love that blue "halo" going on around the treetops!
